Your MMO can have the best, most flexible systems and the most robust options — but if nobody but your devs and elite players can understand them, then they do few people any good.

All too often in our online games there are features and parts of the game that simply aren’t explained very well at all. A lack of documentation and instruction either prompts players to give up or grit their teeth and look for help out of the game, which feels like a total fail.

Looking at the MMOs you play or have experienced, what would you say isn’t explained well enough? What leaves players confused and scratching their heads?
